Privacy Policy

Loofy is a service that helps you act on the Instagram reels you save. You opt in simply by sending a direct message to our Instagram inbox account (@hey_loofy). Loofy captures the reels you choose to share with it, organizes them, and reminds you to act on them at a useful time. You are always in control and can stop or delete everything at any time.

What data is processed

For each person who chooses to message the account, Loofy processes only:

• the reels you share to it (the link/video, its caption, and creator handle);
• the messages you send in your conversation with Loofy;
• the preferences you tell it during a short optional onboarding (for example how often you cook or travel, and when you like to be reminded), used only to time reminders.

Loofy does not access your broader Instagram history, your other direct messages, your contacts, your followers, or anyone else's data. It only sees what you deliberately send it.

How it is used and stored

Your data is stored in a private database and used solely to organize the things you saved and to send you reminders about them. It is never sold, shared for advertising, or disclosed to any third party, except the infrastructure providers used to run the service (hosting via Vercel, database via Supabase, and speech/AI processing via Anthropic and Groq) strictly to perform these functions on our behalf.

Messaging you

Loofy replies within your conversation and only messages you within the windows Instagram permits. You can pause it at any time by sending "stop" (and resume with "start").

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete all of your data at any time, instantly, by sending the message "delete my data" to @hey_loofy. This removes every reel, message, and preference we hold about you. You can also request deletion by emailing the address below, and your data is retained only until you delete it or request deletion.
